Here is how you can recover data from non-bootable computer

This is how you transfer the data from a dead computer to another!!!

We often think when the computer becomes dead, the data in the PC is lost and you may dump that into bin. But what if we tell you, that you can extract the data from hard drive of dead computer. You spend lot of bucks in taking that to a nearest Service center and make the data recovered however the chances of getting it back is not completely sure. What if you can revive and recover the whole data of your system on your own. Don't worry we reveal how you can retrieve the data from a Dead computer. Normally most of the service center companies follow this method in getting back our data from Dead computer or Laptop. The following are the few steps through which you can recover the lost files, documents and much more from the dead system.

You require a few things to get this done. An external Hard disk with USB support, a computer compatible with older file system which means a computer of windows from which the data to be recovered needs to borrow a computer of windows operating system. If we find a MAC instead, you require external drivers which are compatible with windows to read and write the files.

Now after getting all the mentioned things, The first and foremost thing you need to do is to remove the hard disk from the dead system. Its very important that we remove the hard disk. To do so, you need to plug out the wires and remove the battery. Unscrew the hard drive and remove the hard drive from it.

Remove the disk enclosure plate and insert that into the external hard drive interface. To insert hard drive into the enclosure remove the adapter and then insert hard drive into the enclosure. Connect the hard drive onto the working computer and make sure that computer is turned on. The working system will however prompt us that a drive is being connected. Now its just plug and play. Just copy the contents of the hard drive and paste them into another computer. But it tests our patience as it takes hours of time as well. Make sure all the data is being copied from the drive onto the other system. Once its done, eject the drive by closing it. Now close the window on dead drive and detach it from the system. This is how you recover data from a non-bootable (dead) computer.

This process though looks simple works perfectly if it is a desktop. When it comes to the Laptop, you need some knowledge about the laptop which can be unplugged and then recovered. Though the same method can be used for data recovery from laptops as well.

Its advisable that not to get through these situations by having some backup via external hard disks for important files.
